I purchased a used wheel and it appears as though someone tried to pry the airbag badge off. It's a bit bent near the bottom. Are they readily available? And if so, where from?
Thanks.

easy to fix. sticks on with 3M. look at www.bavauto.com or www.bmpd.com or something.

What kind of steering wheel is it? I have a 3 spoke steering wheel and it doesn't seem that the badge is replaceable, even the ETK shows it as an one piece part. Anyways, I guess you can get some badge and stick it over the old one without removing it.

The roundel on my '97 4-spoke steering wheel airbag is also integral to the cover - no separate replacement part is available.
Don't stick anything on your airbag that you wouldn't want flying at your face when the airbag deploys.

That's the one I have. I too don't think it's replaceable. The damage isn't too bad, I can live with it I guess. Maybe a dab of touchup paint to hide the chips where the silver underneath is showing.

Lol... Good call. I'd stick a badge on it anyways, I don't think it would do so much harm.
You can always disconnect the airbag, can't you? :D

It's illegal in many jurisdictions to disable an airbag, although that hasn't stopped people from doing it.
Insurance companies and personal injury attorneys would have a field day, too, if you disabled your airbags and crashed your car.
