Operating vehicle w/o monitor?

Is there any issue to that? I want to switch to the widescreen, figured I'd throw the 4:3 on eBay so I can apply the sale $$ to the widescreen. I just wasn't sure if it was a bad idea to drive the car w/o a screen plugged in, kinda like driving w/o the cluster plugged in. I kinda doubt it, just wanted to double check :)

As far as I know...no problem.

Its just a dummy display for the most part. Like a MID.

However, dont be surprised if the radio wont stay on longer than 5 mins.

I've done it, wasn't a problem. But I didn't turn the radio off before I took out the head unit. Kind of weird listening to the radio(it's in the trunk) when there's not head unit in the car. Would recommend turning off the radio before you take out the head unit. It's an odd feeling when you have to listen to the radio and you can't turn it off.
