Front Seat Heater Watt/ohms

Hey all,

My active comfort seat retro-kit arrived from Scuba Steve and it included everything including the control buttons. So when I do the upgrade, I wanted to install some seat heaters while i have the seats apart. Does anyone know the wattage/ohms resistance of the OEM heaters so I can get something that matches closely? I want to use the OEM control box so it needs to be close.

Couldn't you test a OEM seat heater with a simple multimeter for the resistance? Or don't you have an OEM seat heater.

That is exactly the problem, and the solution...

I was hoping someone with front (and rear) heated seats could get a ohms reading for me. There are plenty of aftermarket kits available with variable resistance so I should be able to find a match.

Can anyone help?
