I'm in a bind.....My fronts need to replaced..immediatly.

Ive stock staggered Contours 7.5F 8.5R

My freind is giving me a good set of 245/40 of Used Dunlop Star Specs

I only need to run this for 1-2 months and for 2 autox events left.

Koni Sport S/A
Eibach Pro Kit
Swapped Strut Hats...somewhere around 2.5 Deg. upfront

I know the Tire Will fit on the 7.5, even tought its not ideal for performace.

But Can i clear without a spacer.?

Right now with the 225's and 2.5ish Negative Camber. I can just squeeze my Finger inbetween the tire and strut. and there is more room to be gained if I undo the strut hat swap and go back to stock camber.

I think it is going to be close. It is something you are just going to have to try. With the 17X8.5 wheels and 245/40R17 a small spacer is sometimes needed.

5mm spacer with 17x8.5 and 245/40-17, offset 40
So you should be fine.

Thanks for the Info..Guys....I agree the 8.5 wheels are no problem..
...But it was the 7.5 wheel on the fronts. I was asking about.

Which I think is going to not work...

So Since I needed an aligment, spacers, mounting and spacers

Its Cheaper to Just replace the damaged front tires. Town Fair tire has my tire and includies mounting and aligment, so I get my Toe to Zero and hopefully not smoke my tires again.
