when i picked up my amazing 325is, it was an M3 clone. LAME!!!!!! i took off the front bumper in favor of a 328i stocker with removable grill, and i added a hater lip. Took off the twisties in favor of stock rocker panels. No rear diffuser was present which makes sense since its the one M3 piece i actually desire. So i found out, my car has been body color matched. Its a pretty modern, smooth look compared to other e36's. But i LOVE the look of these pandas running around. I think im going to go for it. My car is red metallic the more common shade, i cant remember the name right now. I have frenched highs and fogs, and DSIIs that im about to paint dark gray. I think it would be best to paint the lower fascia, rockers, and rear lower fascia a very dark gray maybe even match it to the rims. What do you guys think? What would you all do? If you have a panda E36 please whore it out. What about the moldings? They are also color matched but i was planning on going satin black like oem. Thoughts comments etc.

Panda? Panda colors died when this car rolled out onto the scene.

Just don't spray paint the wheels. It makes the car look trashy.

Hey man, by all means, I'd love to have an AE86 as a project car or something, but the TV show killed it for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the TV show, but everyone around might think you're some kind of ricer trying to be like Takumi or something.

I really think it can and should only be pulled off if you're actually good at drifting.

Hey, M52 swap into AE86?

I don't understand why this got moved, I was discussing a theme the purpose of my thread was not to request a picture. Anyway,

Define spray paint lol.I am a professional painter and I plan on darkening the spokes but they will be propperly prepped and taped off from the lips, and done with a car paint in an actual gun in a paint booth. So technically yes I will be spray painting them. But not with a rattlecan if that's what you mean.

Pandaish can look good on E36s. But the way you want to do it, I really don't think it will look good.
Black/white contrast does look good. But since it is a modern shape I don't think you could do it well to the extent you want to do it.

My front and rear end are "pandaered" and I think they look good because of the contrast. I also have black mouldings like OEM. The photos explain it better.

I had grey rocker panels originally, and colour matched is 1000x better. And black wheels don't ever look that good in my opinion.

That said. Some photos of your car would help people formulate an opinion.
