drive shaft "guide bushing" removal help needed

Hey guys somebody here must have changed a guide bushing on there drive shaft RIGHT!?!?!? I'm looking for some removal tips. I tried using a pilot bearing removal tool but "no go":help

i put it in a vice and hit the end of the shaft until it came off, use a brass drive though so you dont bugger the splines up
