Wheel and Tire fitment need help on 540i
<hr style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);" size="1"> Hey guys, I have done a search but i cant find any information on a 2001 540i non-sport.

Currently I am running non-sport stock suspension with the stock 16" rims offset is 20 for all corners.

I am buying 19" Linea Corse Lemans (BBS LM replicas) with offset 15" for the front and offset 22" for the rear. Tire size will be 245/35/19 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear.

I will run the car on stock suspension, will the wheels fit on the stock suspension without rubbing on the shocks and without rolling the fenders.

Also i am planning on getting koni sport yellows/ with HR racing springs, next year. Will this setup cause any rubbing, will have have to make alterations to the camber or roll my fenders ?

Sorry for the wordy description, but i know very little about cars. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Zend

Need to know your rim widths, although based on the offsets and tire sizes it seems to be 8.5" or 9" front and 10" rears.

If these are your wheel widths, you will be fine on your current OEM non-sport suspension

After you install the aftermarket struts/shocks & springs, you will be fine up front. The rears should also be fine... if anything you may rub very occasionally when you have passengers and in certain driving situations (dip in road, etc. while traveling at speed, etc.). If this happens, a fender lip roll will take care of that. Running more negative camber would also correct it if it is very slight... but at the expense of your rear tires' inner tread life. I'd install everything and see how it goes

Just a reminder to make sure the wheels are the E39 specific 74.1mm hub bore.

Sorry the wheel width is 8.5" for the front and 10" in the rear.

Yes I have confirmed with the wheel dealer that the centre hub bore is 74.1mm

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
