I have an '02 M3 with 19" DPE wheels on it. I don't know the exact sizes, but they're wider than stock. I need new rears ASAP. I don't like the "stretched" look of the current setup.

I'm currently running 275/30-19, but I think I have room for something bigger.

Sample specs http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Hankook&tireModel=Ventus+V12+evo+K110&partnum=835YR9K110&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes&tab=Specs

It looks like a 285/30 is .2" taller; a 295/30 is .4" taller.

Thoughts? I think the 285 might be doable, but the 295 is iffy. I have a similar dilemma to solve in the front, but that's not pressing right now.

A nice sheet metal screw hastened my tire decision this weekend. I went with the 285's in the rear and 245's in front. I rolled the fenders a little bit, although they still rub on hard corners and fast bumps. I plan to get them "professionally" rolled. Interesting, they rub more on the left side than the right.
