Does anybody know what is growing in my cooling system?

What she said....
It looks like you used 2 incompatible coolants in your 3 series. I recall reading if you mix the wrong coolant together, it forms a goey mess.
Did you mix blue and green coolant?

That is not a MINI thermostat housing, it's a M5x for sure. That said- I don't know what is growing in there. How long before a coolant flush?

I would not mix different coolant but maybe the previous owner did no one knows. So how do I get rid of that gooy mess?

I have not heard of man juice being good for the cooling system :shifty:

is it just in the thermostat housing or is it everywhere else too like the expansion tank/hoses

flush the system. Looks almost like mineral deposits. Maybe from faucet water used for all its life.
