Just wondering. My cruise control works, but I have no indicator on my cluster that tells me it is on. Just curious if you guys had one. If its there, does anyone have a picture of it? Thanks:)

Why on earth do you need a light to tell you the cruise is on? I really hate how I have to turn on the cruise control and then set it in both my Mini and the wifes Mazda3. Then there is a stupid light showing you have turned it on....

BMW got it right.

The E39, E46, and everything else since then has had that indicator....

You don't need one when there's a stalk, but when you move the cruise buttons to the steering wheel, you can accidentally press a button and cruise is activated. So they put an On/Off function, and the light shows up when you enable cruise control. Just enabling cruise control doesn't make it cruise right away, you then press the accelerate or set button.

I can see how that ties in with texting while behind the wheel....Remove eyes from the road and chase buttons instead. :D

It should take no more than a second to find the correct button on the steering wheel. That's quite different than texting. :confused :stickoutt

I dont NEED a light to tell me cruise control is on. I just wanted to make sure everything was working as it should. Every other car I have owned had an indicator to tell me it was on, so I am just used to this.

If you can't figure out when cruise control is on or off....maybe you souldn't be driving. haha! Cruise control is one of those things that is super easy to know if its working or not.
