How do I tell if 18'' M Parallels are real/not fakes

I am going to look at a set of 18'' M Parallels on craigslist tonight for my '95 525iT. I want to make sure I buy BMW factory wheels and not reproductions.

I was told by a few in the e34 section of this forum that the factory 18'' M parallels would fit perfectly on my car.

How will I know for sure the wheels are the real deal? Are there serial numbers somewhere..?

I could be wrong but I think it's stamped on the back of the wheel.

they would be stamped, and by where they were made. should say germany, not china,japan,taiwan, etc etc

I just picked up a set of staggerd 18"s on craigslist for $300 with 2 good front tires. But 3 are made in china and 1 is a topline. Also they have some curb rash, but for $300 I cant complain. I plan on sanding them and painting them black:alright
