so i'll welcome myself haha. my 19th car in life just happens to be a 97 m3 coupe that i bought this week. 111k estoril (sp?) blue on black. vader seats. interior needs some attention. my first of questions is: where can i find clean black door panels? or does someone have some for sale? i dont think this car was taken care of too greatly. i can already tell i need to replace all of the suspension bushings and im guessing new control arms also. someone did a hack job of wiring the angel eyes so that also needs to be redone. seats are a 7/10, what is the best cleaner/ polish for them? the are a little worn on the bolsters which is normal but the are losing their color somewhat. i will be giving it a tune up shortly. but any other advice, tips, or tricks will be greatly appreciated! thanks n God bless!

Is that a huge dent in the drivers side front fender? Looks like you need a new front lip too :)

Congrats and welcome!

I'd say that does look like a big ol dent in the driver quarter, prob can be popped out or it's easily replaceable.

Door panels? Check ebay and the classifieds here, shouldn't be hard at all for just black ones since that's a common color in these cars.

As for the seats I just had my 99 M3 seats refinished professionally Sunday. I'll give you some tips he told me to care for them. Don't use Armoral! Anything with silicon in it will make it very hard to recondition the seats if you do in the future. To keep them clean dish soap and warm water is best. You don't want soap with any chemicals or additives, just plain soap. To care for the seats you also can use one of those leather kits but make sure it has no abrasive ingredients. I forgot what compound he said he uses but make sure it's nothing harsh or gimmicky. Good luck and enjoy it!
