I just bought a 2007 335i but I forgot to ask the dealer should I run 93 in this car or will it be okay with 87?

91 or above if you want to keep your car running well and avoid possible costly repairs. You can use 89 if there is a necessity, but never anything below that. The gas cap should also indicate the gas grade to use.
By the way, it is a good idea to read through the manual, all this info and more is in there. If you did not get one with the car, you can download one from bmwusa.com after registration.

The turbo motor makes it even more necessary to use 91+ octane. If you want the engine to last, use premium.

It says "unleaded premium fuel only" right on the filler door. It's not a trap. :95

Premium gas for a premium car.
