If its a sedan adjust the door striker

If its a coupe adjust the stiker and the glass is pressing too hard on the door seal.

Check Bentley for a good section on adjusting door glass

hahaha I knew you had a coupe. No one with a sedan ever complains the doors wont open unless you press in on them. You'll know its the glass if you lower the window and open the door. If it opens normally when the window is down (even if its down just a couple inches) Then the glass needs to be adjusted

Basically the coupe doesn't have a frame around the window so the glass is adjusted to press in slightly on the door seal when its closed. If its adjusted improperly and applies too much pressure then it pushes the door out and creates excess pressure on the door striker.

The answer is to adjust the glass so it presses just a bit on the door seal. Just enough to seal it and not leak. Over time the doors get out of adjustment.

Like I said...chekc out Bentley. They have a very good secition on adjusting the glass.

i don't have a bentley book, and it's a cabrio so i have had the windows down before and the doors still have to be pushed in to work.

If its a vert then its probably just the striker. Loosen the two torx bolts just a bit and slide it out 1/16" - 1/8" then retighten them. there isn't much movement available for the striker to move. Try it at its max inward setting then its max outward setting then adjust it to something in the middle that's JUST RIGHT.
