Does anyone have any recommendation for "throw away" spark plugs from autozone or oreilly? such as autolite or motorcraft? I'm having trouble with plugs fouling, going to do some work then want some half-decent "cheap" plugs to check for fouling before i put in some better NGK's

Autolite plugs here. Cheap at $2.00 each and they work great. Added 3mpg to my mileage. (yes I did the math)

are these the one's you're talking about? http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Ngk-Gp-Platinum-Spark-Plug/1992-BMW-325I/_/N-iwighZ9n80x?counter=5&itemIdentifier=939268_0_0_ if so that's not bad at all and would be a little cheaper with my tech student discount. Also, need to find out why they fouled in the first place, that's gonna be fun!

Not the same.... the plug on your link is platinum. the ones i gave you are copper. Call them and ask for NGK BKR6E. They almost always have them in stock.
