So I got my system installed and two other shops who also looked at it can't get rid of the engine noise from the rear 6x9's. Both say it's the design of the vehicle with the battery in the back and alternator in the front. Every possible scenario was worked and reworked (including all grounds checked and regrounded and power wires run separate and the pioneer head unit was correctly grounded also) . The only thing i haven't done is changed the battery and alternator which they said won't help. The amps are close to the battery in the boot but when they connected another amp and moved it, that didn't help. Other people have had this problem. Any other solutions?

If you ground it on or close to the battery that will be where your feedback is likely coming from. I had a lot of trouble with this at first too. I don't know how it was fixed actually because I killed my battery in an unrelated event and in re-installing the new battery (which involved removing the sub box/amps from the trunk) my mechanic managed to fix it. Try turning down the gain on your amp, that will at least make it a little better.

I just did a full system install and had no problems with radio interference at all. I used an existing stud where the factory amp is located for my ground, I rang the RCA's down the center of the car and the speaker lines down the passenget side.
I believe the power lines run downt he driver's side.
My amp is attached to the sub box and sitting over the battery, no issues, but I also left my rear speakers out of the car, only running MBquart 6 1/2" comps up front and a nice sub set-up, all powered by a 4 channel amp, no problems.
