SSR version or regular, comments welcome for both. I asked this to the e90 M3 community, but would like to get a wider feedback if possible:

How is traction at the limit? Both launch and cornering. Do they snap out or are they predictable.
How is braking performance at the limit?
How do they handle in the wet and cooler temps (say 50s/60s)?
Do they degrade gradually with tread wear or just become mediocre after a certain amount of wear?
How is treadlife in general? Although I know that the answers could be all over the place, maybe comparing it to other tires you've had may help.

My car is still within the break-in period, so I haven't pushed its limits yet and I was hoping to get some feedback before experimenting. Also trying to see how far I should go with these tires before maybe switching to 18s. I would like to keep some tread on them before lease turnin, somewhere above 4/32".

P.S. There isn't enough detailed feedback on tirerack.com, but it seems to have gotten rather lousy survey numbers but surprisingly was picked 2nd overall in C&Dk's tests (http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/tests/CandD_gy_f1_gs_d3/CandD_gy_f1_gs_ds.pdf).
