ok I just bought a 1995 325is coupe and the AC and Low speed fan doesnt come on at all I know they work because a gave both direct power and they came on ,so i thought it was the relays or a fuse i replaced both still no go . What should I do next ?

part number for relay is 6136 1 389 105 and the relay is yellow

i also have a manuel climate control if it means anything.

Could it be temp sensor?

I searched and didnt find the answer. Can some one help

You are low on freon. They wont come on unless there is a minimum amount of pressure in the system.

I checked ac freon and its well over the limit . Well thats what the gauge says.

Or the guage doesnt matter because its not turning on ?

Technically that's correct, but in this case it's at least sufficient to let you know that you have enough pressure for it to come on. The pressure switch may have failed if that's case. Does the a/c light come on when you push the button?

You really need a manifold guage so you can see what your pressures are on the low side and the high side. At rest they should both be the same But too much freon is just as bad as too little and will cause the same thing. If your pressure is too high the pressure switch will shut the system down the same as if it was too low.

Check your fuses with a meter not a test light and don't just eyeball them. you can swap the high speed relay into the slot for the compressor relay. They are identical so you'll be able to test if its just a bad relay. It could be a bad pressure switch but I'm not sure there is even a test for that except replacing it which usually means replacing the dryer as well.

If all else fails you could check around and see if anyone is offering specials on A/C serivce.

Ac button meaning the snow flake if so yes it comes on.

Yeah I might have to get the ac drained and refilled

ok took some freon out and still a nothing. Any other ideas

i found out something crazy i think i dont have a pressure sensor ! I was searching my problem in google and i found a thread where a 328i is showing his engine bay and I saw a switch/sensor where the yellow circle is and I dont have thats switch/sensor thing. Could that be my problem !
