Hey guys,
I am looking for a new car for my fiance. I have heard allot of good things about the 335 vert. and IMHO it seems like the right fit. Its sort of something for the both of us. I test drove an 08 with 14k on it friday. Seemed to be allot of fun. Unfortunately for me the salesman seemed to be a huge douche and i couldn't see myself giving him a dime. That being said i am looking to get into something in the next week or so. Is there anything else you would suggest? My 05 CLK500 is up in the next 8 moths or so and i am thinking about leasing a new 650 or x6 for my self once the time comes around. Basically what i really want to know is will this car keep me happy for the time being if we share it? My Clk is giving me all sorts of electrical issues and i am tired of it. I only drove the 335 a couple blocks it felt pretty quick and i love the vert just looking for some opinions on a great car we could share in the mid to low 30's. Also any info on things to look out for when buying this car used/cpo would be great.

Thanks in advance

They are definately quick cars, really the only issue with them is the HFPF. Seems to be hit or miss though, some people have gone through 2 or 3, my '08 is at 20K and I havent had any issues. Ask to see the service history.

If you werent impressed with the sales person ask for another.

+1, I kept going back to the dealership and talking to different sales people until I found someone I can deal with. Many salespeople are either dismissive or condescending, and some don't even know the cars they are selling.

The 335 vert is a great car, go for it.

I have have a 2007 335i conv. and love it...the salesman at the dealership was top notch and cared about every question i had. I looked for 5 months before i found the right car and went through 5-6 salesman (who all were A-holes) before i found this guy.

You will know right away if the salesman is a jerk or not...if he seems like you are wasting his time just go somewhere else. I have been to 3 Saab/ Volvo dealers and had the same bad results, which in turn worked out great cause i am so happy i bought my 335i instead of the 2009 Saab conv. i was thinking about getting before the beemer...

Thanks for the good advice. I will definitely be looking into another salesman at the same dealer as i think i have fallen for this car. Hopefully if all goes well it will be mine in the next week or so.

Use the internet option and you get the sales manager or internet manager and they usually can bargain.
