I know this subject has probably been beaten to death but I just have one simple question. I want silvervision bulbs for the front and rear and I know I can order them online and powerbulbs.com but do any stores like checker or any other autoparts store carry them? Thanks in advance

make them your self with silver spray paint. Just lightly mist them with the spray paint.

thanks tybmw but I don't think I will be doing that. I know it is less expensive, but I heard silvervision are brighter and will not peal. So my same question still stands.

If you spray them lightly they dont peel and are just as bright. I have had mine on for abour 4 months now. I think i've seen some silver visions at autozone... Not positive though

I did the silver spray paint thing and it worked great. I just had them out the other day and there was no sign of peeling. They looked the same as they did when I put them in 6 months ago.

Wally-mart had the Silvervisions for about $40 last time I was there.

Silvervisions or any other bulb similar to them are pretty expensive. When I got my clears I wanted to get silvervisions but they were $50 a pair - $100 for all four corners.
I got some silver/chrome spraypaint and used masking tape and painted them myself. There is a slight loss of brightness but it's still worth it.

considering you can spray 10 sets of bulbs for the price of one set of silvervisions...I'd say it's worth it!!!

Are you serious? If so, go buy some hyper white corner bulbs, that's less rice, right?

85735iohmy so you would rather spend $40 on a pair of turn signal bulbs then $4 bucks? I bet your one on those dinan supporters. lol

You guys have to learn how to ignore this idiot. He NEVER has anything positive or helpful to contribute. Cant stand this idiot. You go and buy your $40 bulbs. For anyone with a little bit of financial sense will just paint them because nobody can notice them anyways.
Why dont you just go to a different board since you seem to hate it here so much?

I know for sure i'm not the only one that feels that way. You can always look at the sniper thread in OT where he said
"he's not that awful atleast he didnt rape and torture his victims."

oooh i suppose we should all get cervani's bodykits and flowmasters....
I have the spray painted bulbs- i used heavvy duty hi temp silver engine paint. Hold the can 2.5 feet away from the bulbs when spraying. It'll look good- dont be an idiot and spend $15 on a pair of silvervision bulbs you pansy!

Go to the auto parts store and ask for the new Sylvania Silverstars. They come in both single and dual-filament applications so you can use them front and rear, as opposed to the single-filament euro bulbs. Still not cheap at $10/pair, but cheaper than importing silvervisions.
