Firstly...we bought yet another car. This time, an E32 735i.
Below is what it looked like after owning it for about a day. Had to find an electrical problem.

Secondly, i managed to find a 6 speed box for my E34. Now for some questions:
From what I have read, I assume I have to use an E39 M5 clutch with the new gearbox as the splines on the 6 speed spigot shaft differ to that of my current 5 speed (Out of a manual 530i), rendering my current clutch null and void. Both the E39 M5 and E34 530i use a 240mm clutch, whereas the E34 540i 6 speed uses a 265mm, so I could keep my E34 530i dual mass flywheel as well, i hope. I'm also assuming I will have to change my slave cylinder to that of a 6 speed gearbox.

Onto some pictures of said gearbox:

Lastly, people have been asking for pictures of all our cars.

Stable? It seems more like an E34 ranch. With some extras of course!

If you are going to be killed, it might as well happen when you have a nice collection of old Bimmers.

To the OP, nice rides. I love the three Alpines parked next to each other.

@zubbie - I can't understand why women are so irritated when we buy cars. They buy lots of clothes, shoes etc and we don't want to kill them. Works both ways... :D

@PorscheDude - We've already discussed the backyard option. I reckon i could get at least another 20 or so back there. :lol

@Boogieboy - I definitely have the sickness, with no cure in sight. :buttrock

@janders211 - Would you believe i want a black E34. I'm sure that we got all the white ones and they shipped all the black ones to the States...

Very nice stable of BMW's. You sir, have extremely good taste. I always wanted to ask someone from S.A., is it true you can install a device that cuts off the legs of someone who tries to steal your car?

Is that an executive edition with the extended leather package??

I had an e32 for a while, it was a pretty great car, just too big for a DD here in the Seattle area.

All e32's I have seen have the leather console. Is that what you're referring to? I've thought about trying to retrofit into our e34, then remember I have better things to do.

@BigM62 - I think i will land myself in jail for attempted murder if i did that! :D It wouldn't be a bad idea though.

@GarrettSR5 - It is not as bad as people may think. Weather is always nice etc. It also depends on where you live, as certain areas i would just never ever dream of visiting, let alone living. I work for a performance motoring magazine as a graphic designer.

@camaroguy - I couldn't say for sure. Still have a lot to learn about the E32s. Funny enough though, it actually has self leveling. First time I've seen it on a South African car.

@cornflakecwl - Thanks for the compliment
