Hey guys, I'm selling my Z3 after 5.5 years of ownership. This was my first BMW and man it is a spry little car. I haven't posted here regularly but wanted to put the word out to folks that will really appreciate the automobile.

Cash is OK or a Certified Check from the bank which issues your bank card. Just want to protect myself and be careful, it is not personal.

This 1996 BMW Z3 is a great convertible and fun to drive. It is in "very good" condition, but not "excellent". The car is, after all, 14 years old and the top is showing some signs of wear but overall good condition. I've kept it in good repair, taking it to European Performance on Kirkwood Highway regularly for normal maintenance. I adopted a Great Dane from a local rescue group, padanerescue.com. Big dogs and small cars work for only so long (http://z3links.com/images/PiaZoe.jpg). I ended up purchasing a 7-series to have more room and transport my dog. I'm selling the car because the condo association where I live will not allow me to keep two cars. If I were allowed to keep the Z3, believe me, I would. It's a fantastic car and I love driving it. It has a brand new clutch because the master cylinder and throw-out bearing started making noise then squealed. The clutch had always been stiff but it is light years more smooth and easier to shift. No surprise there, right? Anyway, I kept good care of the car and am looking to sell the car for $4500 or best offer. You can call European Performance or take it for a test drive to your mechanic. The BMW toolkit in the trunk has all parts. The car comes with all manuals and all keys, even the dinky plastic one for valet parking. You will also get the Bentley Repair Manual for the BMW Z3 (http://www.amazon.com/BMW-Z3-Service-Manual-1996-2002/dp/B000AP64PK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1282089878&sr=8-1). It's a great reference guide as you all know.

I really hate to give up this car but want to make sure it gets to a good home. If I could keep it, I would. :-(

What size motor? Any interest in trading for this?

I live in Corning, NY. Very interested. I have cash on hand, and would be willing to pay your asking price. Has it got any rust?

What size motor?

In the US, the 1996 Z3 came with one motor option: the 1.9 liter I-4 M44 engine.

Would you be willing to trade for this?

It does seem like a nice motorcycle, but no thank you. I'm selling the car because the condo association where I live will not allow me to keep two cars. While a motorcycle is not a car, it still takes up a parking space and I do not have a garage in which to keep it. Sorry bud.

No rust as far as I know. Nothing visible to me anyway. Please PM me for contact information and to arrange a time to come look at the Z3 and possibly exchange money for goods. I might be flexible about the "no cash" thing.
