tire recommendation for 18/18.5(and tms)

hi all!
im planning to get 18x8 18x8.5 type 162 wheels. what size tires would be best to get a little bit of stretch? I used to have 215/40 on my old 18x8 wheels on my VW and it did the job

And also, How do i disable TMS(if possible)? i will not be installing TMS on this so will this eff up the car?

Check on tirerack to see what size tires to use.

You cannot disable the TPMS. You will always get the alarm.

tirerack wheels doesw 18x8.5 wheels but anyway..

are 245/45/18 too wide for 18x8.5 type 162's??
will my tires give that belly fat effect>?

i dont run tpms on mine and all i did was a reset and no error
