Finally going beyond just the engine in a car and I want to spruce up every aspect of my car for once. I have an E36 328i, 4-dr. I've found some 18x8.5 +40 offset(front) and 18x9.5 +30 offset(Rear) Bayern mesh wheels, willing to roll fenders and do whatever it takes to make them fit. My last E36 had some 18x8's all around, I liked the way it sat. Was wondering if these would fit without any further modification though...will these fit? Also, what size tire should I be running? Thanks!
Oh and just to add, I am also planning on lowering my car with either the H&R cup kit or the Bilstein and Eibach setup.

step one: determine the width and offset of a wheel you KNOW fits the way you want, and what tire was used (width & aspect ratio.)
step two: go to willtheyfit.com and enter this information as "existing"
step three: enter your new sizes in the "new" boxes and see -in the amazing rendintion- how far off they are from the "existing" wheels/tires.. if the "new" wheels/tires look like they will poke out too much, you can probably stretch a smaller width tire on there to make them fit. if they sit too far in, you will need a spacer.-----------
as an e36 sedan owner (high five) i can tell you that the front wheel (18x8.5et40) will sit very far in. no rolling should be required, especially if you put a 215 or thinner tire on. i successfully mount a 17x8et20 with a 215/45r17. no issues. (inner fender lip "pinched flat".)
the rears -9.5et30- will poke out almost an entire inch farther than the fronts. this will definitely require some stretched tire action as well as possible fender modification.
