Does anybody know where in NY metro area I can get my ECU system tuned..and how much I can expect to pay?

I presume you mean with a performance tune. Try googling "Dinan dealer nyc". Cost for Dinan Stage 1 is $1700, Stage 2 $2200. Other options are cheaper, but not "guaranteed". Many here like the Juice Box as a cheaper option.

iirc i dont think dinan makes a performance tune for a 328 no sure though just check but i hear good things from the burger motorsport, u should prob ask on of the guys at jlevisw they know what there talking bout

Isn't too difficult and is likely the most popular tune for the 328. See the website for the manufacturer for more info:

Do some searching, lots of discussion on this. Basically you have two options: piggy back (like the BMW powerbox mentioned above) or a full re-flash. Both can void your warranty unless you go with Dinan (again not sure if they have a 328i tune or not)

Gintani does tuning for all 3 series models, I know they go to New York once every few months if they have enough interest from people. Shoot me a PM if you want more details on that.
