I have a set of NIB E38/E39 Upper Control Arm bushings BRAND NEW (BMW Part#31 12 0 006 482).

I think they're Meyle or Lemforder or another OE similar. Paid 50 for them I think. I'll sell them for 35+ shipping.

if i purchase this do i not need to replace the whole control arm?

No they need to be pressed in.

im learning alot here, had no idea you can just buy the bushings, i've been replacing the whole parts? does that make a difference than just bushings?

You'll need a hydraulic press to put them in the control arms. People without access to a press will buy the whole part (with new bushings already pushed in them) but all they need is new bushings 99% of the time.
