Does anyone have any experience with the aftermarket regulators that they sell on ebay for around $115?
Rebuilt OEMs from windowregulators.com?

My front passenger regulator cable snapped and my driver rear regulator has worn pulleys and the cable keeps slipping out of the groove.

not sure which way to go as far as finding one that will last.

Just installed FCP ones and they sound great, and work well on both my rear windows, actually are quicker and sound better than my oem front windows, but then again the frontscccccccccccccccccccccccc are 12 years old. Don't forget your 10% discount for being a bimmerforums member

I used Regulators USA. $85 including shipping back to me. Fantastic regulator. The guy is so nice; he kept me up to date when he got it and when it shipped. My regulator was actually weird because the window would go down when 'up' was pushed and vice versa. I wrote that on a note in the box. He called me, we discussed it on the phone, came to the conclusion it was the motor, and he swapped out my regulator for another already rebuilt unit. Can't say enough good stuff about them. Not to mention they are OEM BMW regulators that are just rebuilt and slightly upgraded. Works great in my car now.

With the 10% bf.c discount at FCP it comes out to $104 with a lifetime warranty. They have free shipping on anything over $150 (before discount) so I ordered some HVAC filters at the same time (they have lots of parts to choose from). Couldn't tell the differance between FCP's and my OEM one.
