Come late November, it'll be time for winter wheels/tires on our ZCP M3 coupe.

The stock wheels on this package are 9 x 19" in front, and 10 x 19" in back. They run 245/35 tires up front, and 265/35 in back.

I have a set of VM CSL reps from our old E46 M3 that I was thinking of using as winter wheels. They're 8.5 x 18" front, and 9.5 x 18" rear. .

Would this work on the new car? If so, what sizes would work best for the winter tires? Tire Rack recommends 235/40/18 fronts, 255/40/18 rears.

Thanks.

Check load limits but I wouldn't run anything bigger than 225 for winters.
