Thinking of Buying a 335xi

Hey all,

Wellll I'm thinking of trading in my '08 STI for an '07 or '08 335xi.

Is there anything to look for on either of these years? BMW is offering a deal for certified used ones that extends the warranty 6 years 100k miles with service as well.

Any must have options?

Any real differences between '07 and '08? I'm leaning toward an '07 because BMW is also offering 2.9% for 60 months for an '07 vs 3.9 for 60 for an '08...

I'm also ONLY looking for a 6mt as I've never owned an automatic car (out of 14) and I really don't want one heh...

What should I pay for a CPO car??

No real differences between the two that I'm aware of. Look for the normal used car stuff, accident damage, repair (service) records if any, carfax. Most people feel that the sport package is a "must have" since that gives you the oil cooler and much better seats.

Kudos to you for getting a manual tranny.

You'll need to do the research yourself to see what a fair price is for a CPO car, can't help you there.
