Im looking for the measurement of the Hub Protrusion on a 328is. It's basically how far out that hub protrudes from your rotor or hub base. Im getting spacers made and they said they need to know the measurement.
If anyone can answer it it'd be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think the hub protrudes 10mm past the rotor hat area.....
With any 3-5mm spacer, you don t need a lip (hub extender) with the spacer but it s a pain to line up with wheel bolts. 3-5mm spacers for our cars dont come with the lip. 10mm spacers do have the lip..... look at products from H&R, Bimmerworld, Turner, Vorshlag and they'll all be the same way........
I have 5mm spacers from H&R (no lip) but I converted to studs to ease the pain of having to line stuff up
edit: hub is 72.5mm OD... I believe the ID of my spacers is just marginally bigger at 72.7 or 72.8... for a perfect hubcentric fit

I did measure it when I put on spacers last week (Thursday to be exact) and it was somewhere between 10mm and 11mm.... I don t remember the exact number.......
then again, it could vary with your rotors since the material thickness of the rotor hat may be marginally higher or lower from disc to disc......I have rotors made by Powerslot on the front.....
if adaptec is making you 5mm spacers, how much will they cost? a 5mm will need no lip but it's advisable to put a chamfer on one side of the inside of the hub hole
fyi: the classifieds are buzzing with 5mm spacers that you can get cheap. HR sells them BRAND NEW for 50 bucks
