I haven't ruled out a bunk compression tester yet, but is there any reason why compression numbers would be lower when hot? The only reason I did the cold test is because I had the valve cover off and was curious... the hot numbers don't make any sense.
-Brand new 950cca battery on 10amp charger.
-Throttle was open.
-Car was ran for 20mins decently hard and immediately tested.
-Timing is perfect (rotate crank to tdc, cam locks slip right on.
-No stored CEL codes.
-1200 miles on engine.
This is a freshly rebuilt engine from bottom up, all stock S52 components (all S52 parts 100%). Elring stock headgasket from Pelican (http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=11-12-1-405-106-M30&catalog_description=Head%20Gasket%2C%20M3%20%28199 5-99%29%2C%20Each)
:confused
