Used 330: E46 vs E90

I'm looking to buy a 330 between 2002 -2006. Since this year range covers two generations I wanted to ask everyone's opinions on both.

Is there anything specific to look out for or avoid on either generation? Are there any prominent maintenance concerns? I appreciate any feedback I can get.

I would say search around for info in the two cars sections.

My cousin has an 06 E90. Got it with 44k and its got 65k on it now and has been hassle free so far other than the faulty passenger seat airbag sensor.

I have an 02 E46 and its got 157k and its had issues but that comes with mileage.

E90 is roomier and has more power, but styling is 50-50.

e46 would be a more fun car imo. lighter zippier. and personally i think the pre lci e90 is dam fugly with the mustache and lights and all.
