what should 335i idle at?

i feel like my car is idling high. what should or does your 335i idle at?

Welcome to the forum. I do not own a 335, but all stock BMW's I've ever known idle in neutral at 750 or 800 rpm. Yours?

it's around 700. i brought it in yesterday and they updated the software. i guess it was a little rough because of that. i'll be picking it up in a few hours. i feel excited just cuz it has a program update LOL

Plug in an OBII reader and check it against the tach. Sometimes the tach can be off.
