View Full Version : Ground control's installed, clunking when turning on drivers side?

Alright i installed everything without a problem no clunking went for an alignment now when i turn i have a clunking on the drivers side? what should i look for that they may have touched during alignment?
Thanks i realize that it could be one or more of a million things bit maybe someone knows.

From my experience, the number one thing that makes noise on e36M3 is sway bar links, so it may have nothing to do with the alignment, just a coincidence.
But, if it is a real obvious before/after noise, check the jamnut for the tie rod ends.

I will also say check your sway bar bushings and links, after I lowered my car I developed a front end clunk too. When looking under the car I could see the sway bar had been slipping in the bushings. The dirt had rubbed off on the bar about a 1/4 inch on each side of the sway bushings
