if you slap em on, your E36 will look like an X3
rideheight will be very big

They will fit no problem.
Are the rims 8.5inch wide all round?
You'll need 225/30 sized tyres. Only problem is the load rating is not high enough which can be defected by police.
You'll need some seriously low springs to get it sitting good.
If you want it really slammed i'd consider running a 215/30 tyre stretched. That willl allow you to tuck tyre at the front and tuck rim at the rear.
