I am riding on Pss9's on my 330i and have recently heard strange noises coming from the shocks. I checked out the shocks and to my suprise, one of my rear tires seems to be riding on nothing but springs. I have heard that PSS9's have a tendency to go bad because of a prematurely worren out washer. I want to know if anyone else has had this problem, and where I can get replacement washers for it.

Bilstein has a lifetime warranty doesn't it? You should contact them for replacement/repair information...

If you are saying that the rear shocks have popped off of their lower bushing. I have had problems with that, Bilstein forgot to package the washers with the kit. I have had to manufacture washers for some of my customers before beccause of this. Try calling up your local distributor or whoever installed them to get a set.

Could I get the size of the washers so I can pick them up at the local hardware store?

Maybe, I can't remember the exact size, but if you can, remove and measure the diameter of the lower bolt. Also measure the lower loop of the shock (I think it's about 1-1/2 to 2 inches) something big enough to stop the shock from squeezing off. Any piece of metal will do (as long as it's not too thick), just drill out the hole for the bolt.
