Soo I decided on a fluke, to list my '00 323i for sale on Craig's, based on market value I priced it a thousand less, due to the abnormal amount of miles 174K. I had over 20 guys approach me within the hour and it went to first come first serve, clock time, within 3hrs. My beloved went to another Bimmer enthusiast!
Soo I am car-less and feel worst than a hobo, what to do?
I have been eyeing some '03'04 330i ZHP's or if I try to stretch the budget I maybe able to land a '06 330i or even a high mileage E46 M3.
What ever I may buy is going to de-value rather quickly as I drive 15K miles a month, for work.
If you were in my position what would you do?

What's your budget? IMO, since you drive 15K miles/month for work, I would go with an 06 330i and not a high mileage E46.

15,000 miles A MONTH? I would use that stretch money to get a civic for commuting then get a clean weekend car.

Maybe a hybrid/electric? :dunno
So that's 180,000 miles a year! Well, OP said he will devalue it quickly. What kinda job is it?

That is a whole lotta miles a month! I put like 250-300 or so a month on mine....so opposite end of spectrum!
Crazy!

Well, the budget currently is $10K, though If I want to go higher, I'm going to have to finance.... I'm a regional sales guy who travels from store to store across 3 states.

You will be hard pressed to get a nice ZHP for 10K, and I wouldn't touch what ever M3 you could get with that much with a 10-foot pole.

Don't kill me for saying it, but how about an e39 or e38? The first owner of my 98 e38 was a pharmaceutical rep, he put 78k miles on it in 18 months. I can't think of a car much better for lots of highway driving than the e38.
They can easily be had for $10k. Also it gets incredible fuel mileage for its size, weight and power.
15000 miles a month is 500 miles per day.... every day.

Civic or Corolla. I would not buy a BMW, you are going to absolutely destroy the value of the vehicle so don't get an expensive car!

I would think priorities would be #1 reliability and #2 COMFORT.
Get something with a butt massager in the drivers seat.

15k miles a month? thats a whole lot!
I would rather get a civic and get a nice weekend car later on.
But, thats just me.

Are you the same guy that likes to put his car on cruise control at 120mph and blast down the Oklahoma country side to work?
EDIT

I'd agree with you if I were in the market to buy a Bimmer.
Otherwise, I'd go chock up a Toyota or Honda. That's a lot of mileage you are going to be putting on the car like this if you are traveling that much.
Save the Bimmer for enjoyment. :) It'll be more well worth to preserve it that way.

Alright alright guys, guess what I got? It was'nt even what I was originally looking for... Though it's a Bimmer!

Honda Fit why?
Because I bought my Fit for work and traveled 6k - 8k a month. Shit was cheap to run and maintain, and now with 95k miles and proper maintenance drives decently and is bulletproof. 15k brand new no options 5 speed

05 530i with pretty low miles and a manual tranny, and the price I got it for is just another thing... I guess I made an educated guess, very comfortable still fast and the safest I've felt riding on a highway doing 120+MPH!

To me, if I had to drive that many miles, I would choose a 5er. The best highway cars IMO.

After a 7, possibly the best car you could have bought for highway driving. Very nice. Please to post pictures. :)

nice! i was going to suggest a MK5 jetta TDI. that kind of commuting mileage, a diesel would have been a wise choice.

Damm, I would find a new job, nothing is worth driving 15k a month....And what did you get for your 323i, I am thinking of selling my 330i and it is low miles as well

i say diesel jetta, because with a 6 speed you can get 50mpg. i'd prefer to drive a 530i/5, no doubt.
