hello
has anyone replaced the cat converters on an e39? mine are bad and need to be replaced. looking in the engine bay doesn't look that bad, but the directions say the engine needs to be raised 1/4 inch and the entire exhaust needs to be dropped in order the get the new cats in.
anyone have experience with this? does the engine really need to be raised and the exhaust dropped?
any help or insights are appreciated !!
