crazy gauges

i took my car to get oil change ez lube when they reset oil gauge my fuel gauge goes from full to empty, my tach reads 4000 at idle, my water temp light is on and speratic, milage gauge reads 514000 miles when i only have 214785 can anyone help

Woah. Take it back to where the oil change was done and demand them to fix it. Next time, change your own oil, its easy enough.

could the reset tool cause this problem? it was working fine before? i was told the tool will not do this

I use a paperclip to reset that gauge.

I don't think a reset tool would do this. Try doing a gauge test.. With the ignition key at position 0 (full off), press and hold the trip odometer reset button. (The trip distance will not reset.) When the distances appear, turn the key to the position 1 (accessories on). Release the reset button and watch the show.

Definitely take it back to the oil change place and get them to fix it or have them pay to get it fixed!
