I purchased an '07 328i (E90) a couple of months ago and would like to change the original 16" wheels and tires to staggered 18's.
What size tires and wheel widths would you recommend front and rear so I don't have to make any modifications or encounter rubbing problems?

There are many choices in wheel widths ranging from 8" to 10". Best bet is to use Tire Rack as a reference if you can. Their wheel/tire guide will show available 18" wheels and recommended tire sizes for your car.
I chose BBS CH wheels. Fronts are 18x8.5 and rears are 18x10. TR recommends a 225 tire for front and 255 for rear. I upped the tires to 235/265. No rubbing issues at all on an '08 328i with sport suspension and no spacers.

Thanks for the feedback. That's exactly the look I'm wanting to obtain.

Any idea if this would work on a 06 325xi? I appreciate the help. What did they do before online car forums? :)

I believe the offsets on the xi model wheels are different. Again I say..... use the Tire Rack year/model specific application to see what works. It's a great resource.
