Hey Guys - It's been a while since I've purchased a used car and need help with purchasing a 07' 328xi CPO Sedan. Car looks clean on the outside and inside and Carfax says 1 owner. Here are the stats.

Price $28,900 - I want to negotiate this down :(
2007 328xi CPO
Mileage 28,000
Steptronic Auto Trans
All wheel drive
Premium Pkg
Leather Interior
Cold Weather Pkg
Navigation
Hi-fi Sound
Ipod and USB Adapter
Runflat Tires
All Weather Mats included
New Car Warranty Expires 5/2011
CPO Warranty Expires 5/2013

Is this price too high? How much room do you think I have to negotiate even though this is a CPO? Is it worth me having a mechanic check it out even though it's a CPO?

The dealer gave me the vehicle service history printout and I see the following complaints and/or repairs that may or may not be red flags:

Receiver function/remote operation/radio remote control permanent malfunction
Valve Unit RDC Leaking
Full-flow filter body leaking

Thanks for the help!

I recently bought a 2007 328i sedan CPO until 100k clean carfax and all for 22k with 44k miles.

It is a manual, however it is not AWD, does not have navi, and a usb adapter.

It does depend on where you live and the time of year you are attempting to buy the car.

You should be able to talk the price down some, as you can see there are some things wrong with it, which is what the CPO is for. There were some minor things wrong with mine such as Ac fan not working, wiper fluid, and a small knock, but I left it at the dealer for two days (received a loaner) and the car came back everything fine.

Basically, make sure you double check with everything, and it helps 110% to have a good relationship with your seller.

Hope I helped!
