I have a 2007 335i (not sport) and recently switched out my stock wheels with 2009 19" M3 wheels. The front wheels are 19x8.5 and the rear are 19x9.5. Mounted with Yokohama Advan Neova tires. When going over large depressions or bumps I am getting some rubbing in the back end. I really like the wheels and want to try to keep them. I have searched the site but not really found a good correction. Anyone have any ideas on how to make these work? (beside custom fenders). I would like to do this as economical as possible.
Thank you for your help!!!

The offsets on the M3 are lower than the 3 Series and wider and I am sure they will rub. You are going to need to run more negative camber and roll the fender lips. Depending on the size of the tires you have you might have to go narrower as well. The M3 does you taller tires than the 3 Series so that can cause a problem as well.

Drop tire size + fender roll

Thanks for the info guys... I had the fenders rolled last friday and everything is good when rolling solo, however with people in the back i still get some rubbing. I am now thinking about playing with the camber but was curious if this will have a negative effect on the ride of the car. Is there anything to worry about?

Just run the most negative camber that BMW recommends and you will be fine.

Thanks Jim! Can you recommend an all season or winter tire that will fit these wheels and maintain a profile as low as the Advan Neovas? Winter will be here before i know it, and the Advans won't cut it.

What size wheels are you going to be using for the winter? Let me know and I can make a better recommendation.

Sorry, I would like to use the wheels listed in the OP. 2009 19" M3 wheels, the front wheels are 19x8.5 and the rear are 19x9.5

Jim, I should probably add that the current tires sizes are as follows:
Front tire size is 255/30-19 and the rear tire size is 275/30-19.

First off you are going to be a lot better off with narrower tires for the winter. I would look at 235/35R19 front and 255/35R19 rears for the best grip. Take a look at the Bridgestone LM60 if you get a lot of snow and the Dunlop Winter Sport if not as much.
If I can help let me know.
