So i just replaced all my springs with H&R Sports, for some reason the car is lop-sided in the front,

also it feels like there is NO give on the side thats lower. The only difference is that the lower side is a Bilstein sport strut, and the higher side is an OEM strut (no bashing new struts are on the way). I don't think that should make a difference though, should it?
If not, what could i have done wrong? pulling it apart sometime this week to look at it but curious if anyones got any pointers.
Thanks,
Abe
PS god am i embarrassed, the front is a mess i know, its a DD and i have no garage. Ill get to it all at some point.

You should not be using different shocks/struts on the same axle at all. Not judging, but unless you had a broken spring they should have been alot lower down your list of things to spend money on for your car. It looks like it needs a significant amount of love.
Best of luck with your issues.

Were there any height issues before the new springs?
Or did they only come about after you changed the springs?

Seems like the sports would be lower with a lot less give than OEM (i.e. the name Sport) def wouldn't drive too long like that, seems like it'd make the handling characteristics unpredictable. Problem will surely work itself out with new strut on the other side. If problem remains once the new one is installed then update this thread with more pictures of the struts installed and work through it from there, but i think the billie is just lower than you were expecting (sport generally would imply that the part is not comparable to OEM).

That was the exact issue, broken spring. No no height issues before the new springs, didnt even know it had a different strut on one side untill i started taking it apart to replace the springs.
A fresh set of Bilsteins are on the way.
Yea it needs some love. I hit a baby deer last winter and still need to replace take care of the front end (headlights loose, bumper crooked, etc...) I don't drive it right now, and only have time here and there to work on it right now. Im guessing the second i raise the right side im going to find the problem but with the limited time i have i wanted to get some answers ahead of time if anyone has had the issue before.

That sucks about the deer. I hope you get everything straitened out. If you end up having to take it to a shop there is a thread on M3forum listing alot of shops in your area.
