Just saw this doohickey online and wanted to know if anyone had one? If it works as good as lifting the car up and draining it from underneath? Does it remove all the oil?? :dunno

I have the pneumatic version from Griots. It rocks. I just attach a compressor airline to it, insert the tube into the dip stick, squeeze the handle and Vooop! out comes the old oil. Takes a few minutes at the most to suck it all out. Just gotta be careful that you don't stick the tube all the way in so that it bottoms out on the bottom of the oilpan otherwise you'll slow down the flow because the bottom of the oil pan will be blocking the end of the tube. Then all you gotta do it pop off the oil filter cap, replace the filter and you're done. Takes me 10 minutes max to do this oil change.

Some people will argue that it doesn't get out the metal particles, etc from the pan, but I don't think this is really much of a problem. Every 2 oil changes i'll do a regular plug drain change though in order to strike a nice balance...just in case.

I say it's well worth the $$$. Buy it. :D

Thanx for the compliment onrailsm3. Your car looks sweet too. I've always loved the E30 M3's and hope to have one as part of my "stable" someday. :devillook
