if you're using offset bushings (stock '95 bushings or treehouse racing eyeball arms), stick with the '95 control arms.
why do you want to switch to '96+?

You can use the offset bushings with 96+ control arms if you are looking to add caster. The 96+ control arms have caster designed into them, which is why they use a centered bushing. The 95 control arms do not have caster built-in, so they get it from the offset bushings.

The combination of 95 bushings with 96+ control arms will add caster and move your front tires forward in the wheel well a little. I use Treehouse Racing FCAB (95 m3 geometry) with the Lemforders at the top of the page http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1991/bmw/325i/suspension/control_arm.html. The ball joints are not cased in rubber and are replaceable.

Thank you guys for your help!
Basically, I had a little wreck going of the road in a snowy day and had bent my driver side control arm. After looking on the forum, I decided to gt one fro the well known seller. To my surprise the control arm he sent me had holes all over it and had worn out lolipops. He insisted that it was from a 95 and wouldn't take it back unless I pay for shipping back and fort...
So now it is getting real bad and I was wondering If i could go for the 96 + witch is a lot cheaper compared to the one for 95. But thanks to you guys, I will stick with the oem 95 CA.
Thanks again to all of you!
