Oil Level Display Question

Bought an '08 e92 335i recently and after reading through the manuals paged through the DIC displays. When checking the oil level display I noted it was at the 3/4 mark. Six weeks later and after several gas ups it stiil is at the 3/4 level. The driver manuals are silent on oil capacity and what each interval represents. How much am I low? It seems to me I should keep the oil topped up for engine cooling with a turbo installation. Thoughts....and thanks.

Don't worry about it. Only when it is down a quart do you need to add that amount and it will let you know (an exclamation mark will appear).

When your display reads 3/4 full it means its 1/4 of a quart low, when the display reaches minimum that means you are a full quart low and need to re-up.

i had same questions... dont worry, once u get through this once, u'll be wise like all of us saying not to worry and enjoy your car... just wait till it says "gimme 1 cup of oil" :)
