Hey guys, I have a set of nearly brand new BBS METRIC wheels (RA207) that were on my fathers late 80's 5 series. These only fit the 5 6 and 7 beams with the TRX suspension from that period. They are stunning wheels and went for 310 a piece back then! The problem is they only fit such a few cars and worse only one place still stocks a tire that will fit, at a whopping 417 a piece!

We've been carting these around forever and I have no idea what to do with them, any suggestions? I honestly don't think I could give these away...who is going to spend that kind of money on tires?

My only thoughts are making some beautiful BBS coffee tables out of them (seriously) :rolleyes

Thank you!!!

imo nearly worthless except to a collector for concours use or something. Maybe put an ad in Roundel or the BMWCCA website, but no one is really looking for these.

IslansS62 is correct. The tires are junk that go on them so unless you just want to keep the car as stock as possible they would not be a good option.

Thanks for the responses guys, I'm just curious if you have any other fun suggestions as to what I should do with them...scrap is out of the option as they only pay .07 cents per pound!

How do you feel about the coffee tables haha?

use one to coil up your water hose or air hose. I have been wanting to do that for quite a while.
