Potenza or contisportcontact3

just wondering if the contisportcontact3 or oem potenza is better. was thinking of changing to the conti's sometime in the future.

Had Potenzas on my Miata, and they were fine. The Contis I have on this BMW are fine, too, nice and sticky, although my rear tires seemed to wear fast. I've also noticed that my new ones have seemed to pick up "crap" from the road such that I've had more than my share of slow leaks in these tires. Tire guy says that indeed some tires seem to pick up more of that than others, although he couldn't say that was something he noticed about Contis in particular. I'm not sure this limited experience will be much help in making your decision, just FWIW.

If you are looking at Continental tires, you should consider the Extreme Contact DW's. I know a guy that runs autocross and swears by them and says they last a long time. Once my OEM's wear out, that is what I am going to get.
