Hey fellas,

I recently bought some JIC coilovers for my "other" car, a Lexus Es300. I know, not a BMW, but I figured you guys might be able to help me none the less.

They have about 1000 miles on them. They were dead silent until I turned the stiffness all the way down, and then back up a bit a day later. Now the fronts only make a weird "suction" type noise when going over big bumps, like a speed bump. No visual signs of leaking, no bounce like you'd expect from a dead shock. I have never owned a pair of coilovers before, so I don't know what to think of this noise. Here's a sample recorded from my phone - it's a bit quiet, you might need to turn your speakers up a bit:

The first noise is coming off of the speed bump, the second noise is on the rebound - both are from the front suspension. back is still silent. I'm going back to stock suspension before I sell the car, and I want to make sure the coils are okay before I sell them.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Additional Note: Last night, I turned them back up a little more, and the sound went away. Weird!
