I need a radiator hose. Autozone sold me one that won't fit

Autoscope-- which is right across the street-- wants $24 for a part I can get for $10 on pelican

However overnight shipping at pelican is $15

Anyone know a local place that won't rape me so bad?

World Pac... here in KC you can get World Pac though CarQuest.. not sure about elsewhere though.

They carry the EURO brand which I've had good luck with for hoses and cooling parts.

I don't really understand your reply-- they seem to be a wholesaler?

I figured I would see if anyone had any good referrals first and wait till the end of the day before I did

Anyway-- I just went over there getting soaked in the rain only to be told they didn't have any

Why didn't you tell me that when I called TO ASK IF YOU HAD ANY EARLIER?!?!

F that place

Call All Imports on Forest Lane and ask for Frank. He has been helping me with my OEM parts requests on my BMWs now for a couple years. I go with him for all the common stuff. It helps to have the part numbers looked up on realoem too so you can confirm it with him on his side when he pulls it up.

All special needs and Euro M5 stuff I go to Patrick at BMA.

Look in the classified section.. or at a local salvage yard. New will be astronomical.. Used will be reasonable.

You call a Carquest and ask them if they are connected or can get stuff from World Pac... Its that easy. Then you tell them what you need.. even give them the OEM part # and they can tell you if they can get it.

Thanks for this tip-- the one by NW Highway is pretty close to me. Should hopefully come in handy
